What I got
I was really intrigued by this box as I'd seen a lot of people talking about it on Instagram, and the only other stationery box I'd tried before had been the Papergang box by Ohh Deer, which I had thought was a bit over hyped and poor value for money. I was pleasantly surprised by the YooHoo box, however!

Fabric tape is mine, not included! :)

The first item was this Miss Dior Print. I'm not usually too girly with my prints, so I wasn't sure about this at first, but then I thought perhaps it would look good by my dressing table where I have all my makeup and perfume bits. I think if I could find a nice white frame it will look lovely.

Next I pulled out this absolutely beautiful Imagine print. It's just the sort of thing I would put up in my bedroom, with the muted grey and white tones and the simple quote. It made me think of the John Lennon song which is one of my favourites. This is another one that I want to put in a simple, delicate frame and put somewhere in my bedroom where white/grey tones is totally my theme.

Next were four lovely cards: a Hugs & Kisses Abstract/Heart Print Blank Card (I kinda think those round grey things look like moons!); Marble and Gold Good Luck Card; Pink and Grey Pineapple Blank Card; and a Grey Toned Spotty Happy Birthday Card.
These are all absolutely my sort of thing, and will be waiting in my card box (yes, I keep a box of cards ready to send to people, I love collecting them!) ready to be sent out. My favourite is the Hugs & Kisses Card- I think putting the lilac/purple envelope with it was a great choice.

Next there were two pairs of little square Instagram print style cards- "What If I fall..." and "She designed a life she loved", and Hashtag and Ampersand (&). I'm not sure if these were meant for writing on or craft or whatever but I will be using these to hang on my peg lines I have on my walls- I hang pretty prints and cards on them with tiny pegs and have fun mixing it up with new ones now and then.

Finally there was a huge sheet of Happy Mail Stickers and a June/July/August Planner Sheet with the marble print and 'She designed a life she loved' theme.

Final thoughts
I really enjoyed opening and exploring this box, and it was definitely a hit with me. The four cards alone were worth the price if you consider how much they normally cost on their own. The only thing I would change is having a little information card inside but it's not a deal breaker for me. I also liked that the box easily fits through the letterbox so the postie doesn't have trouble!

  1. I've never heard of a stationary subscription box! That is really cool! They all look so pretty!

  2. That's so cool! I think that could be a bit of a dangerous subscription box for me to have, I have a serious stationary problem! x
